About
Pinewoods SALT Ministry is dedicated to the older adult members of our congregation with the mission to (1) provide assistance when and where needed to our older adult members, (2) provide opportunities for fellowship and social activities for them to participate in and (3) provide opportunities for our older adult members to serve and shepherd younger members of the congregation with new ministries. We believe our older adult members have so much yet to give as well as need to be supported as they age. Lessons of faith and the promises of Christ shared with our younger generation are vital to keeping younger families ever growing and walking in the Lord's narrow path.

SALT Ministry - September Birthday and Anniversary Bash!
September 19th at 2:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall we will be having our Monthly SALT Ministry Birthday and Anniversary Bash! Join the fun when we take a day out to celebrate everyone in our ministry who has a Birthday or Anniversary that falls in this month! Cake & Ice Cream are on the menu as well as light snacks. SALT Ministry - Annual "Medicare 101" & 2026 Update Seminar
Once again we will be hosting our annual Medicare 101 and 2027 Update seminar. If you are exploring Medicare for the first time, this is a great session to better understand all the ins and outs of the program. If you are on Medicare today, you will want to attend so you can understand all the changes that will be coming in 2027. Our speaker, Tom Ashton will also be giving a review of what some of the best Medicaid Advantage plans there are out there for those living in the Pensacola area as well as some alternative coverage for those who travel a lot or who need specialized care from medical centers in other areas of the country.
