Nursery Information

Parents, your children are important to the Lord and they are important to us at Pinewoods.  Our heart’s desire is to provide adequately for their needs when you entrust them to our care. 

Who comes to the nursery?

Our nursery is for children birth through four-years-old.  The reason for this age limit is the physical and health safety of our younger children.

Children's Church

We offer Children's Church for ages 4 through K5.  The children will sit with parents during worship time until it is announced for them to leave with their teacher.  The children will have an age appropriate Bible lesson and activities.

Leaving your child in the nursery

Please fill out the form provided, with information about your child and where you will be while your child is with us.  There will be at least two caregivers wearing nametags in each room of the nursery.

Please label your child’s diaper bag, bottles, and sippy cups.  There is tape and pen located at the door if you do not have them already labeled.  The nursery worker will give you a name tag with a number on it to attach to your child’s clothing and a card with a corresponding number will be given to you.  We will only release your child from our care to a person with that card.  The person must be an adult to pick up a child.  If you are needed during the Sunday School hour someone will come for you.  If you are needed during the Worship Service your number will appear on the box attached to the front wall on the right side of the sanctuary.  If you see your number displayed, please come to the nursery yourself.  Do not send a brother or sister.

Please do not put your child in the nursery if he/she has had any of the following within the last 24 hours:

Fever (100.5 or above)          Diarrhea         Vomiting
Mucus running from eyes    Pink Eye         Runny Nose
Congested Cough                  Impetigo         Any Virus
Contagious Skin Rash         

If you are in doubt of your child’s health, please apply the Golden Rule: 
DO UNTO OTHERS…AS YOU WANT OTHERS TO DO UNTO YOU!!!!!!
